OUR MISSION

To stop the degradation of the planet’s natural environment and to build a future in which nature, wildlife and people thrive together. To do so, we’re currently working on the following initiatives:

Improving the health of wildlife populations to create a world where people and nature thrive.

Unlocking the potential of renewable energy by funding innovative tools to speed the transition to renewable energy while ensuring key habitats are preserved and wildlife thrive.

Being heroes for tigers by doubling the number of tigers in the wild by 2022 by supporting rangers on the ground, conserving tiger habitat and working with local communities and governments.

Ensuring our freshwater future by supporting research into the health of our lakes and rivers and helping local water stewards take action for freshwater health.

Creating healthier oceans by expanding and strengthening Canada’s network of marine protected areas and ensuring that fisheries are low-impact and sustainable.

Stopping the effects of climate change through advanced research on wildlife such as polar bears, caribou and narwhals and the impacts of climate change on these species.

Committing to nature in your community by engaging Canadians across the country to help nature and wildlife in their communities.
